Hi'iaka Florist is a Hawaiian floral studio based in San Francisco. We specialize in two things: spectacular tropical arrangements and an extraordinary collection of handcrafted lei — more than 25 varieties, each strung to order.
We are named for Hi'iaka, the Hawaiian goddess of hula, healing, and the natural world. Her spirit guides everything we do — an unwavering reverence for nature, a commitment to craft, and a belief that every flower given is an act of love.
What began as a passion for Hawaiian floristry has grown into a beloved San Francisco institution. From graduation leis to wedding centerpieces, memorial tributes to luau installations — we bring the islands to every occasion.

The Founder
Isha Leilani Mok
Founder & Master Lei Maker
Isha was born and raised on the shores of O'ahu, where the scent of plumeria and the rhythm of the hula were part of everyday life. Growing up immersed in Hawaiian culture, she developed an early and abiding reverence for the natural world — and for the ancient art of lei making, which her grandmother first placed in her hands as a young girl.
When Isha moved to San Francisco, she brought the islands with her. What began as a way to stay connected to her roots quickly became a calling. She founded Hi'iaka Florist to share the beauty, intention, and spirit of Hawaiian floristry with her adopted city — and to honor the culture that shaped her.
Today, Isha is recognized not only for her extraordinary floral work, but for her deep commitment to cultural preservation. She runs free workshops throughout the Bay Area, teaching young people — many from the Asian and Pacific Islander community — the traditional art of lei making. For Isha, each workshop is an act of cultural stewardship: passing on a living tradition, one strand at a time.
“A lei is never just flowers,” she says. “It is a gesture. It is a story. It is aloha made visible.”

Novelty Lei is our dedicated lei collection — over 25 varieties of fresh orchid, carnation, and specialty lei, available year-round for any occasion.
Each lei is made to order with fresh flowers, strung by hand, and delivered with care. Standard orders ship in 3 days. Rush service is available for an additional $15.
